Responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to individuals in their homes or community
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring that dietary needs and preferences are met
Help with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health status
Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
-Driver’s License - required
-Reliable Vehicle - required
-Criminal Record Check- will be done in-house
-First Aid- willingness to get
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
Knowledge of home care practices and techniques is a plus
Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with diverse abilities
Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with individuals and their families
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certifications required for the position
