Crown Packaging is an integrated manufacturer and marketer of corrugated cartons and sheets, printed paper wraps and wallboard tape. We have built a strong and loyal customer base by developing and nurturing strategic partnership style relationships.

The three converting facilities, known as Crown Packaging Garden City, Crown Packaging Viking Way and BoxMaster, operate with extensive customer reach and distribution capabilities throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

Position Summary:
The position will entail managing purchase orders to suppliers in order to complete customer orders and maintain warehouse consumables. Along with this you will also plan and advise on inventory items that require purchasing to maintain productive stock levels.

As your role will require constant and clear communication with suppliers, you will require outstanding communication skills and have the ability to be proactive in finding solutions for supply chain issues. This position is a hands-on position where you will be working with, and ensuring the proper coordination between, logistics, dispatch, procurement, and warehousing.

Job responsibilities for this position:




Ensures the order placement and delivery of materials is made according to business needs.
Works in conjunction with other departments and maintain the inventory of purchases.
Manages the budget for repairable spares as well as all other stocked spare materials .
Process PR’s and PO’s and issues tickets.
Oversees the current spares requests.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 years Buyer’s experience.
Proficiency in MS Office, UPS software and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in 4site.
Proficient with CMMS systems and computer data entry.
Ability to work within a team in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $63,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
