Job Summary

Join our dedicated team as a Dietary Aide/Server, where you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious meals and exceptional service to residents in a Retirement Residence setting. Your energetic and compassionate approach will ensure that residents enjoy their dining experience in a warm, welcoming setting. Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to ensure attractive and nutritious offerings.
Serve meals to residents with professionalism, kindness, and attention to individual dietary needs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, kitchens, and food handling stations.
Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Support kitchen staff with basic food handling, cleaning, and organization tasks as needed.
Help manage meal schedules efficiently through effective time management and coordination.




Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with residents, listening to their preferences, and addressing any concerns promptly.

Experience
Previous experience in Retirement Residences, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and food service operations is beneficial.
Robust understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
Experience in customer service roles that require patience, empathy, and clear communication.
Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a rapid-paced environment.
Knowledge of food handling procedures and kitchen safety regulations is advantageous.
