Talents123 Educational Center is currently seeking a kitchen assistant to work with our head chef. The kitchen assistant will support the chef in the preparation, cooking and serving of lunches and snacks. The candidate will also help with the preparation and packaging of dishes from our catering menu; The candidate will be asked to wash and store dishes, to clean on a daily basis all kitchen areas to the required standard, to work at all times in accordance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.

Household responsibilities

· Wash linens and any related items.

Kitchen responsibilities

· Distribute and collect meals and snacks.

· Wash and store dishes.

· Maintaining a clean work environment.

· Adhere to food safety codes.

Skills

· Positive verbal communication skills in English and/or French.

· Organizational and multi tasking skills.

· Ability to work well in a team environment.

· Kitchen experience is a plus.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
