Elite Contracting Division – Elite Property Group

Elite Contracting Division is seeking an experienced Residential Renovation Technician to join our team. Previous hands-on experience in residential renovations, construction, or property maintenance is required. Our team handles renovations, unit turnovers, repairs, and ongoing maintenance throughout our residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

- Complete residential renovations, repairs, and general property maintenance
- Perform drywall repairs, mudding, taping, and finishing
- Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces
- Install LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) and other flooring
- Complete basic carpentry, trim, doors, cabinets, and hardware
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacements
- Complete unit turnovers and prepare rental units for new tenants
- Assist with demolition, framing, decks, fencing, concrete, and exterior repairs
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine practical solutions
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests and emergency repairs when required
- Safely operate hand and power tools and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

- Previous experience in residential renovations, construction,



or property maintenance is required
- Solid practical knowledge of construction tools, materials, and techniques
- Experience with drywall, painting, flooring, and general repairs
- LVP installation experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong attention to detail
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to perform physically demanding work

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Sarnia-Lambton and surrounding area

Schedule: Monday - Friday, with occasional evenings/weekends as required

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Please note: Previous hands-on renovation or maintenance experience is required.

Pay: $22.50-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
