Job Summary

Six Acres Kitchen and Bar is looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Team Lead to join our team.

The Kitchen Team Lead will play an significant role in leading the kitchen team and helping ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, consistently, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support the kitchen team during daily operations and service.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Maintain consistent standards for food quality and preparation.
- Manage kitchen organization, inventory, and supplies.
- Manage effective food cost and waste control.
- In charge with staff scheduling and coordination with the General Manager
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
- Communicate effectively with the team and management.
- Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, especially during busy service periods.
- Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.





Requirements

- Previous kitchen experience, with leadership experience considered an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented.
- Strong attention to quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
- Current Food Safe and WHIMIS certification is required.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
