About Flooring Liquidators

Flooring Liquidators operates 16 showrooms across Ontario, specializing in flooring, building materials, and kitchen products. We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and sales-driven associate for our Hamilton South location who can confidently assist customers, close sales, process orders, and work independently.

Key Responsibilities

● Greet customers and provide professional, knowledgeable sales assistance

● Help customers select hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and other renovation products

● Recommend products based on customer needs, measurements, budget, and project requirements

● Build quotes, estimates, invoices, and process customer transactions

● Follow up with leads and customers by phone and email

● Answer incoming calls professionally and confidently

● Close sales and develop strong customer relationships

● Coordinate orders, deliveries, pickups, and installations

● Maintain accurate customer information and follow-ups in the CRM

● Use QuickBooks, POS systems, email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer programs

● Create and post advertisements on Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, and other platforms

● Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom

● Complete administrative duties and order management

● Open and close the showroom

● Work independently and confidently when scheduled alone

● Identify problems and find practical solutions without constant supervision

Qualifications





● 3+ years of retail sales experience required

● 2+ years of customer service experience required

● Strong sales and closing skills

● Strong phone and customer communication skills

● Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly

● Strong basic math and measurement skills

● Excellent problem-solving skills

● Comfortable working independently and managing a showroom alone

● Experience with QuickBooks, POS systems and CRM software preferred

● Strong organizational and administrative skills

● Flooring, home renovation, building materials, kitchen, tile, or interior design sales experience is an asset

● Experience with Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace is an asset

● Fluent English required

● Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

● Reliable and punctual

Training & Commission

Paid training is provided for approximately 3–4 weeks.

Training is paid at the applicable minimum wage. After successful completion of training, the regular hourly rate is $21.00/hour.
