Digby Convenience is hiring two Retail Sales Supervisors for our location in Digby, Nova Scotia.

Wage: $31.96 per hour

Position Summary

The Sales Supervisor will support the day-to-day operation of the retail store and supervise staff to ensure customers receive good service and store activities are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate retail staff
- Prepare staff schedules and assign daily duties
- Hire and train staff or arrange training as required
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and stock management
- Manage cash and oversee daily cash-handling activities
- Assist customers and resolve complaints or other concerns




- Authorize merchandise returns when required
- Prepare reports related to sales, merchandising, and staffing
- Conduct employee performance reviews
- Help maintain an organized and efficient store setting

Qualifications

- Secondary school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of related retail or supervisory experience
- Good English communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team
