Excelitas is looking for an Assembly Technician to support the Process group in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec. This role focuses on both automated and manual assembly processes in a full time capacity.

In this technician role, you will directly support the assembly of optoelectronic devices through various methods such as epoxy dispensing and wire bonding. You will also engage in continuous improvement initiatives and assist in optimizing production operations to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote workplace health and safety measures
• Provide technical support for assembly processes
• Qualify production equipment post-maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues
• Apply Six Sigma methodology for process improvement
Requirements:
• College diploma in relevant engineering technology
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing support
• Knowledge of optoelectronic device fabrication
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software
• Bilingual in French and English
