Our client is seeking a skilled Irrigation Specialist for a contract position, offering a hybrid work arrangement, to support agricultural operations in the Kimberley region. You will be responsible for designing, installing, managing, and maintaining efficient irrigation systems to optimize water usage and crop yields. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in water management systems and practical knowledge of agricultural needs. You will work closely with farm managers and agronomists, contributing to sustainable water resource management and improved farm productivity, involving both in office assessments and remote planning.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement new irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and pivot systems.
Oversee the installation and setup of irrigation infrastructure.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of existing irrigation equipment.
Monitor water usage and system performance, making adjustments for optimal efficiency.




Diagnose and repair faults in irrigation systems.

Requirements
Diploma or degree in Agricultural Engineering, Water Resource Management, or a related field.
Experience in designing and managing agricultural irrigation systems.
Knowledge of different irrigation techniques and water conservation methods.
Familiarity with irrigation system components and control technologies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
