Leavitt Machinery is seeking a Field Technician (Dock & Door) in Mississauga, Ontario. Utilize your skills in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service in this onsite role.

As a Field Technician, you will play an essential role in maintaining dock equipment for our customers. This includes diagnosing and repairing dock plates and overhead doors, as well as performing preventative maintenance and safety inspections. You will also communicate effectively with customers, ensuring their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install dock equipment and traffic light systems
• Diagnose and repair dock equipment issues
• Build relationships with customers and clarify job scopes
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections




• Prepare parts and manage communication with the Parts department

Requirements:
• Heavy Duty or Automotive Journeyperson’s ticket preferred
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and welding
• Ability to read schematics and communicate effectively
• Valid driver’s license; travel to customer sites required
• Robust understanding of safety policies and procedures
