Responsibilities

- Manage merchandising displays and ensure product availability on the sales floor
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for accurate cash handling, transactions, and receipts
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a friendly attitude
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, inventory levels, and customer interactions to support operational efficiency

Skills

- Proven experience in Scaffolding sales or related construction sales environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, are essential for engaging customers effectively
- Technical sales experience, including product demos and explaining complex features, is advantageous
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing quick calculations
- Customer service expertise with a focus on building rapport and ensuring positive experiences
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain tidy displays
- Knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures is beneficial
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining professionalism and customer trust
