The Role

We are looking for a customer-focused Sales Specialist to grow sales and brand presence in an assigned territory. This hands-on role combines outside sales, product delivery and in-store merchandising. You will build lasting customer relationships, develop new business and help our brands succeed through reliable service and strong execution at store level.

Key Responsibilities

· Grow sales in existing accounts by identifying opportunities, recommending products and securing new listings.

· Develop new customers through prospecting, cold calls and regular follow-up.

· Build relationships with store managers, buyers and department teams; understand their needs and resolve service concerns.

· Increase brand visibility through shelf placement, additional displays and in-store promotions.

· Sell and deliver products along an assigned route, operating a five-ton Hino truck safely and completing accurate orders, invoices and delivery records.





· Load and unload products safely, maintain accurate inventory and follow product handling requirements.

· Merchandise shelves and displays, rotate stock, monitor expiry dates and maintain approved shelf layouts and pricing.

· Plan daily activities, pursue sales targets and execute sales programs; communicate opportunities and customer feedback to supervisors and Corporate Account Managers.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Sales experience is an asset. Candidates with retail, grocery, customer service, merchandising or delivery experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence initiating conversations and asking for the sale.

· Organized, dependable and self-motivated; able to work independently and contribute to a team.

· A valid driver’s licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle, a satisfactory driving record and criminal background check.

· Comfortable operating a five-ton truck (no special license required) and regularly lifting and moving products weighing up to 40 lb.

Willingness to travel overnight when required and learn the company’s sales, ordering and invoicing systems
