LifeLabs is searching for a part-time Laboratory Assistant to support patient specimen collection. This vital role entails greeting patients, performing phlebotomies, and maintaining client relationships. You will also manage data entry while ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and explain the specimen collection process
• Perform phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors
• Conduct special test collections, including drug screens and clinical trials




• Complete and manage patient demographics and requisition information
• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing

Requirements:
• Completion of a Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent experience
• Phlebotomy and ECG training is preferred
• Excellent data entry skills and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and in team settings
• Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality
