About the Role
RMI LLP is seeking an experienced and driven Assurance Intermediate-Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This is an ideal role for a soon-to-be designated skilled with strong technical expertise, a client-focused mindset, and a passion for Assurance work.

Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Delivery

Complete review engagements and audits in accordance with Canadian ASPE, ASNPO, and/or IFRS standards where applicable

Ensure engagement quality, risk management, and timely delivery of services

Provide value-added insights and recommendations on files

Participate in personal tax season if current engagements allow for it

Client Relationship Management

Serve as a point of contact for clients

Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships through proactive communication

Technical & Compliance Excellence





Stay current with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations in Canada

Provide technical guidance to more junior team members when needed

Ensure adherence to firm policies and professional standards

Qualifications

CPA designation (CPA Canada) preferred, but is not required

Minimum 3+ years of public practice experience, with significant Review engagement experience

Strong knowledge of Canadian auditing and accounting standards (CAS, ASPE, IFRS, ASNPO)

Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities

Experience working with privately held businesses and/or not-for-profit organizations is required
