Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Attendant to join our team for the holiday season. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling food and bubble tea orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate should have at least 1+ year(s) of experience in food service and cashiering.
This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while delivering a positive experience to our customers. This job position is ONLY seasonal (NOV - FEB)**
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately using our in-house POS system (ie. Lavu)
- Confidence in taking phone call orders and in-person orders
- Serve & Package food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Handle cash & card transactions with precision; Including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain a clean and effective workspace
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Assist other co-workers, have a strong sense of teamwork
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred ( 1 year minimum)
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or cashier roles within the food industry is beneficial
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a rapid-paced setting
