Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 6.45p-7.15a

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week (Wk1: M/T/We, Wk2: Th/F/Sa, Wk3: Su/T/We; Wk4: Th/F/Sa)

Position Requirements:

Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required

Long Term Care (LTC) Nursingexperience: Recent/Current 2 years – Required

2 Supervisory reference - Required

Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements:

ASN or an equivalent – Required

BSN or an equivalent – Highlypreferred

RN License for State of MI - Required

BLS Certification from AHA- Required

Job Description:





Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing– Long Term Care, the Registered Nurse assists with total nursing carefor the Adult/Geriatric, pediatric, & adolescent patient/resident

Participatesin patient/resident and family teaching and works in cooperation with ancillarynursing staff to maintain the standards form skilled nursing practice inthe clinical setting.

TheRegistered Nurse is seen as a role model for exhibiting the BehavioralStandards and Customer Service expectations of the facility.

Implements nursing actions inaccordance with established standards of nursing practice and establishedpolicy.

Evaluates the effectiveness of careprovided to ensure quality care and patient related issues are completed in atimely manner.

Self-Management and accountability fordelivery of responsible patient care, demonstrates effective communicationskills and interpersonal relationships.

Assists with over sight of non-clinical and support staffpersonnel
