High School Social Studies 10

- This is a fixed-term position
- Anticipated start time is October 19, 2026
- Dependent on the return of the teacher

Successful candidates will

- Have an understanding of Christian Education
- Practice and demonstrate evidence of a strong commitment to the Christian faith
- Hold, or be eligible for, a valid BC Teaching Certificate or Independent Schools Teaching Certificate and meet the requirements of the DCS Employment of Teaching Contract
- Practice strong collaboration skills and enjoy working as part of a team
- Explore a variety of learning approaches
- Carry an understanding of and encourage the practice of current pedagogy
- Demonstrate an interest in the development of learning beyond the walls of the classroom

DCS hosts over 500 PreK-12 students, including Indigenous students from the Cowichan Tribes. These families are part of our identity and add richly to the school's cultural diversity.
