We are looking for a Security and Surveillance Manager for an organization located in Ecuador.

What You Will Gain

- Salary: 120 000$ to 140 000$
- 100% of travel, accommodation, meals and other related expenses covered
- Several trips back home per year (5 to 6 times per year, for several weeks at a time)

Security and Surveillance Manager – Expatriate - Responsibilities

- Plan, direct and control the daily operations of the Security Department
- Develop and implement the overall security and surveillance plan for the plant and its facilities
- Manage access control, movement and secured areas throughout the site
- Oversee the organization and execution of security escorts for employees, visitors and sensitive resources
- Coordinate responses and maintain close collaboration with local law enforcement and external stakeholders
- Interview, evaluate and manage security service providers
- Implement and maintain the emergency response plan, including incident response and management procedures
- Structure the Security Department, supervise and train the team under their responsibility to ensure strict adherence to procedures
- Ensure the protection of personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, mineral products, supplies, company information and strategic assets

Security and Surveillance Manager – Expatriate - Qualifications

- University degree in administration,



security management and/or industrial engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in security, military or law enforcement
- Experience in risk management and crisis management
- Bilingualism is essential (Spanish and French or Spanish and English) to communicate with internal stakeholders as well as local personnel in South America
- Leadership and communication: ability to manage and mobilize teams, resolve conflicts, influence and motivate others, and work effectively in a multicultural workplace
- Expertise and organization: strong skills in security management, needs assessment, protocol implementation, procedure and report writing, planning and prioritization
- Rigor and performance: autonomy, analytical and decision-making skills, perseverance, sense of urgency, results-oriented mindset and ability to manage crisis situations
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Position Details

- Location: Ecuador (South America)
- Expatriate assignment for a period of one and a half (1.5) to two (2) years
