Seeking a professional, reliable and experienced Security & Guest Operations Lead for our multi-level creative facility in Downtown Toronto.

Our location operates across three floors and includes recording studios, a private event lounge, artist sessions, content productions and private venue bookings. We are looking for someone who can maintain a protected, organized and welcoming environment while coordinating guest access throughout the building.

This is not simply a stationary security position. You will be a key part of the daily operation of the facility and the first point of contact for many clients, artists and event guests.

Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor the main building entrance
- Verify clients and guests against scheduled studio sessions, events and private bookings
- Direct guests to the correct floor or business area
- Maintain controlled access between different areas of the facility
- Manage guest lists and event check-in
- Communicate with engineers, event staff and management regarding arrivals
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of the three-floor facility
- Monitor entrances and security systems
- Help maintain building capacity and organized guest flow during events
- Professionally handle unauthorized visitors and access issues
- Document incidents and communicate important issues to management
- Assist with basic guest-service and front-of-house duties
- Maintain a professional, calm and respectful environment at all times

Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence required
- Previous security experience




- Strong communication and conflict-management skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Comfortable working around artists, creators, private events and nightlife environments
- Able to remain calm and make good decisions in high-pressure situations
- Reliable and punctual
- Available evenings, nights and weekends
- Event, venue, hospitality, condominium or entertainment-industry security experience is an asset

What We're Looking For We are not looking for someone who simply sits at a desk.

We want someone who takes ownership of the entrance and understands what is happening throughout the building: who is arriving, where they are going, which bookings are active and who is authorized to be inside.

The ideal candidate understands how to provide strong security while still giving clients and guests a professional hospitality experience.
