Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 6.30p-7.00a
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend
Position Requirements: Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
Recent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioralhealth nursing: 1 year – Required
Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements: ASN or an equivalent – Required
BSN or an equivalent – Highlypreferred
RN License for State of IL - Required
CPI Certification - Preferred
BLS Certification from AHA- Required




Job Description: Provide all aspects ofPsychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral healthunit/s.
The Registered Nurse (RN) managesand coordinates the nursing care activities during the client'shospitalization in accordance with organization policies and procedures.This includes assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes,implementation, and evaluation.
Based on this process, the RNdirects and is responsible for other personnel involved in client care.
Accurately and promptlyimplements physicians’ orders.
Prepares, administers, andrecords medications in accordance with the policy regarding theadministration of medications.
Records information concisely,accurately and completely.
Conducts group therapies andassigned.
Participates in multidisciplinarytreatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment. psychunit.
