Guarda Security Services Inc. is a licensed Ontario security company, and we're taking over security and concierge services at a high-end residential condominium on Toronto's waterfront, starting November 1, 2026.

We're hiring a full-time Security Site Supervisor to lead the on-site team and serve as the main point of contact for property management and the condominium Board. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has run a condo front desk, carries themselves professionally with residents and Board members, and holds the team to a high standard on every shift.

Shortlisted candidates will interview with Guarda and then with the property management team and Board during the week of October 19.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a team of security and concierge staff across day, evening and overnight shifts
- Act as the on-site point of contact for the property manager and the condominium Board
- Manage front desk operations: access control, visitor and contractor registration, package handling and vendor coordination
- Make sure all scheduled patrols are completed and verified through the NFC patrol checkpoint system
- Review and submit daily activity reports and incident reports, accurately and on time
- Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies (fire, medical, security)



and escalate to management when required
- Train new staff on site procedures and post orders, and keep post orders up to date
- Monitor staff performance, appearance and conduct, and correct issues quickly
- Cover shifts and arrange replacements so the site is never short-staffed
- Keep a professional, welcoming, resident-focused presence in the lobby at all times

Qualifications

Required:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- At least 2 years of condominium security or concierge experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisor or lead role
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR certification
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong report-writing skills
- Comfortable with smartphones and digital reporting and patrol apps
- Calm, professional and confident under pressure, with sound judgement in incidents
- Reliable and punctual, available full time (mainly weekday day shifts, with flexibility when needed)

Nice to have:

- Experience working with Toronto condominium corporations (TSCC) and property management companies
- Knowledge of fire safety and building systems (fire panel, alarms, access control)
- WHMIS, Use of Force or de-escalation training

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
