Requirements – MUST HAVE
- Minimum 1 year of commercial truck driving experience
- Valid Canadian commercial driver's licence
- Clean and acceptable driving record
- We provide training, load securement, using straps, Chains, binders and tarping.
- Good knowledge of safety regulations and Hours of Service
- Brampton ON- Texas/ California runs, good miles and good pay
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and Valid USA Visa
- Brand current Trucks, Rolltitite/Conestoga, Flatbed, Step-deck trailers.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer for pickup and deliveries.
- Secure loads properly using chains, straps, tarps and other equipment
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries and delays
- Follow all transportation laws and safety procedures
- Protect cargo and equipment throughout each trip
