About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Advisor – Operational & Closure Readiness to support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation and deployment program .

The organization is transitioning from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA as part of a large-scale enterprise transformation. This role will help ensure that business teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and site stakeholders are fully prepared for testing, training, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare.

This is primarily a business readiness, project coordination, and stakeholder management role , rather than a hands-on SAP development position.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and track readiness activities for business SMEs and stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed activity plans, task lists, trackers, and status reports.
- Coordinate with SMEs and Product Group Readiness Leads to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Support mobilization and scheduling of SMEs for readiness activities.
- Coordinate testing, training, pre-cutover, post-cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Ensure sessions are properly planned, sequenced, and communicated.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, technology requirements, travel, and other operational needs when required.
- Work closely with local site representatives to incorporate site-specific requirements and constraints.
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and outstanding actions.
- Escalate issues and delays to the appropriate project or readiness leads.
- Support effective communication between business teams,



project teams, SMEs, and site stakeholders.
- Ensure readiness activities are completed according to required timelines and quality standards.
- Provide day-to-day operational coordination and support to the overall readiness team.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Project Management , or a related field.
- Experience working in SAP environments , preferably SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience supporting SAP/ERP implementation, deployment, transformation, or migration projects .
- Strong project coordination or project management experience.
- Experience coordinating multiple SMEs, business stakeholders, or site-based teams.
- Experience with business readiness, operational readiness, deployment, cutover, testing, training, go-live, or hypercare activities.
- Experience working within a matrix organization .
- Strong planning, scheduling, tracking, and dependency-management skills.
- Experience in Commercial Services or Shared Services environments.
- Understanding of Deal-to-Contract and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to identify, track, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
- Bilingual English and French communication skills required.
- Ability to work onsite in Montreal 3 days per week .

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs .
- Experience transitioning from SAP ECC to S/4HANA .
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation or ERP deployment programs.
- Experience in mining, manufacturing, resources, or other complex operational environments.
