These professionals will play a key role in safe and effective blasting operations, supporting metallurgical coal production. What You’ll Need BC Mines Surface Blaster Certification (2nd or 3rd Class)




2-5 years blasting experience within mining or similar heavy industrial environments
Valid Driver’s License and experience operating vehicles in mining or heavy industrial environments
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 7x7 rotation
Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
Physically fit; able to perform physical labour and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
High level of safety awareness and proven attendance record
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Teamwork skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Willingness to learn and adapt in a energetic work environment
Completion of pre-employment testing
