Forklift Preparation & Maintenance Attendant Job Description Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will prepare forklifts for delivery, help maintain our equipment, and support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
Responsibilities Prepare sold forklifts according to order requirements.
Diagnose equipment issues and perform basic repairs and maintenance.
Perform paint touch-ups and minor bodywork improvements.
Visually inspect forklifts when they arrive and before they leave to check their condition and quality.
Communicate regularly with the dispatcher about priorities for repairs and preparation.
Install and adjust attachments and accessories.
Move and organize forklifts in the warehouse and assist with loading units onto transport vehicles.
Charge batteries as needed and clean machines before delivery.
Help keep the warehouse clean and orderly. This may include restocking hand soap and toilet paper, mopping floors, and completing other routine cleaning tasks.
Assist with other duties as operational needs require.




Qualifications Experience working on forklifts or other material handling equipment.
Basic knowledge of bodywork and equipment appearance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with the dispatcher and warehouse team.
Resourcefulness, versatility, and close attention to detail.
Ability to adapt when priorities change.
Commitment to workplace safety and ability to perform the physical duties of the role.
Own tools and toolbox.
Working Conditions A stable and versatile daytime schedule, Monday to Friday, based on 40 hours/week
