36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Position Requirements

Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required

Med Surg and Rehab Nursingexperience: Recent/Current 2 years – Required

Must be willing to float betweenAcute Rehab and Med Surg Units

Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements

ASN or an equivalent – Required





BSN or an equivalent – Highlypreferred

RN License for State of VT orMulti-State - Required

BLS and ACLS Certifications fromAHA- Required

Job Description

Provide all aspects of Nursingcare for patients in Acute Rehab and Med Surg Units.

Coordinates total nursing carefor patients in Acute Rehab and Med Surg Units

Participate in patient and familyteaching

Provide leadership by working cooperativelywith ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintainingstandards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting

May be asked to work as a backupCharge Nurse

Records information concisely,accurately and completely.

Participates in multidisciplinarytreatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
