The Unit Aide at Providence Care will provide essential support to patients in meeting their behavioral, emotional, and physical needs. Engaging closely with an inter-professional healthcare team, you'll assist with daily activities and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors alike. Candidates with experience in a healthcare setting are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Help with bathing, feeding, and dressing patients
• Follow the inter-skilled care plan for patient support




• Participate in care plan discussions with team members
• Guide patients and families during orientation to the unit
• Accurately document care activities as needed

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completed Personal Support Worker program preferred
• One year of relevant patient support experience preferred
• Experience with geriatric and palliative care populations
• Training in UFIRST / PIECES / GPA preferable
