Prepare Structural drawings and 3D models that meet company standards.
Assist Engineers with the layout of structures.
Coordinate drawings with other consultants.
Support and mentor other drafters, with the prospect to grow into leading the drafting team.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES Proficient with Revit, with strong wood frame modelling experience.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Thorough understanding of Structural and Architectural drawings.
Familiarity with structural materials and construction processes.
Strong organizational and self-directed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Thoroughness in completing tasks with attention to detail.
Desire to improve systems and innovate.
Ability to work in a team environment and work towards common goals.
REQUIRED TRAINING & EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of experience in a structural drafting position, including wood frame projects.
BCIT or VCC Drafting Certification (or equivalent) preferred.
