Job Overview

Envirotech Office Systems is looking for a skilled, reliable Office Furniture Installer to join our team. Being a client facing position you'll be representing Envirotech on every site you visit where professionalism is key. You'll install and decommission various brands of commercial office furniture — workstations, private offices, seating, storage and glass wall systems — for clients across the GTA.

If you take pride in precise, clean work and enjoy seeing a space come together, we'd like to hear from you. Willingness to work evenings and weekends when necessary and occasionally out of town.

Duties

- Install, assemble and reconfigure systems furniture, panels, worksurfaces, casegoods, seating and storage
- Do small deliveries and pick-ups throughout the GTA
- Read and follow floor plans, installation drawings and work orders
- off-load trailers
- Inspect product for damage, report missing or incorrect parts, and complete job paperwork
- Leave every site clean and organized, with debris and packaging removed




- working throughout our plant assisting various departments as needed
- Represent Envirotech professionally with clients, building managers and other trades

Skills

- Previous experience in the installation of office furniture
- Able to read installation drawings and measure accurately
- Able to lift and carry up to [50] lbs regularly and work on your feet, bending and kneeling, for full shifts
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence, a clean driving record is preferred
- Available for occasional evening or weekend installs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team or independently

Assets
- Experience with Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion or similar systems furniture
- Working at Heights and WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain them)
- Experience with demountable glass walls
- Forklift or pallet-jack certification
- comfort driving cube vans and straight trucks when needed.
