About the Chance

Assist with the month-end close process through the preparation and analysis of monthly journal entries, and balance sheet account schedules.

Perform AR/AP listing reviews and investigate deviations from expectations.

Assist with regulatory compliance requirements such as Statistics Canada surveys and monthly GST return filings.

Assist with quarter-end review and year-end audit requests.

Assist with plant cost accounting transactions.

Support with ad hoc requests and analyses, as required.

Internal and External Stakeholder Communications:

Support internal team members with day-to-day transactional needs.

Perform other duties as requested by your manager.





About You

At least 1-3 years of experience in accounting or related areas

Completion of a diploma in accounting or a combination of accounting related work experience and a diploma in a different specialty.

Knowledge of full cycle accounting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Salary Range
$70,000 - $85,000/year
