VIA Rail Canada Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair locomotives at the Toronto Maintenance Center.

You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and running repairs to VIA Rail standards, with a focus on diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and ensuring adherence to Transport Canada guidelines. The role is a permanent, full time position with a standard 40-hour week and diverse shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
