EBC is seeking a dedicated and safety-oriented CivilConstruction Labourer to support operations on the Highway 11Interchange Project . The Labourer will support our civil construction crewswith a variety of general labor and site duties to help ensure projects arecompleted safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abbotsford,with multiple shifts available as required. The successful candidate willreport directly to the Site Superintendent.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious,comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, and willing toperform physically demanding work as part of a team.
Profil Assist skilled tradespeople, operators,carpenters, pipelayers, and other crew members with daily constructionactivities.
Perform general labor duties on civilconstruction sites.
Load, unload, move, and organizeconstruction materials, tools, and equipment.
Assist with site preparation,excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling activities as directed.
Assist with the installation of pipes,drainage systems, forms, concrete, and other civil construction materials.
Perform digging, shoveling, raking,compacting, and other manual tasks as required.
Maintain clean, organized, and protected workareas.
Assist with traffic control and sitesetup when required.
Follow instructions from supervisors andwork effectively as part of a crew.
Operate basic hand and power toolssafely, where trained and authorized.
Identify and report potential hazards,unsafe conditions, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Follow all company health and safetypolicies, procedures,



and site requirements.
Wear and maintain required personalprotective equipment (PPE).
Perform other general constructionduties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous civil construction, roadconstruction, utility, or general construction experience is considered anasset.
Construction experience is preferred but training will be provided to the right candidate .
Valid driver's license is an asset.
Ability to work outdoors in varyingweather conditions.
Ability to perform physically demandingwork and lift up to 50 lbs .
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, andperform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
Willingness and ability to work multipleshifts, early mornings, evenings, or weekends when required by theproject.
Strong communication skills and theability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work safely and cooperativelyas part of a construction crew.
Relevant safety certifications ortraining, such as WHMIS, First Aid, Ground Disturbance, or otherconstruction-related certifications, are considered an asset.
This is a hands-on position that requires workingprimarily outdoors on active civil construction sites.



The successful candidatemust be comfortable working around heavy equipment, construction materials,uneven surfaces, dust, noise, and changing weather conditions.

Compensation within the range isdetermined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, andinternal equity.
