As a Recreation Worker with AgeCare, you will develop and implement recreation activities that enhance residents’ quality of life. This role requires the ability to foster individual skills while promoting relationships among residents, families, and community groups. You will support a holistic approach to wellness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan daily recreation and leisure activities both in-home and in the community
• Create engaging environments that support resident participation
• Communicate effectively with residents and their families




• Observe and document changes in resident abilities
• Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement

Requirements:
• Experience working with seniors in long-term care
• Diploma or degree in recreation, therapeutic recreation, or related field
• Enrolled in a relevant diploma or degree program
• Skills in planning and facilitating wellness activities
• Knowledge of therapeutic programming techniques
