Job Description
Our client is seeking a Divisional Accountant to support construction, hospitality, storage facility, and operating business units. This position provides exposure to multiple industries and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their accounting expertise in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Skills and Requirements
Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned operating companies

Prepare bank reconciliations, HST filings, and year-end working papers

Support month-end and year-end close activities

Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis

Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconciliations

Support accounting operations across construction, hotel, and storage facility business units

Work cross-functionally with internal departments

Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation

Provide backup support across the accounting team when required

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies

Required Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1+ years of accounting experience

Understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications





Public accounting experience

Exposure to construction, hospitality, or multi-entity accounting environments

Experience with ERP/accounting softwareCPA designation not required but considered an assetdeal Candidate

Self-starter who takes initiative

Strong work ethic and accountability

Coachable and open to feedback

Team player with excellent communication skills

Comfortable learning new industries and business operationsInterested in long-term growth within a stable organization
