We are seeking a Senior Purchasing Specialist to support sourcing, supplier management, cost reduction, and procurement activities within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must have Automotive Tier-1 work experience as a Procurement or Buyer. This is a direct hire, permanent and 100% onsite work setting.

Senior Purchasing Specialist Key Responsibilities:

- Manage purchasing activities for production and MRO materials
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, and contract negotiations
- Drive cost savings and supplier performance improvements
- Ensure on-time material delivery to support production
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, customs brokers, and internal teams
- Support new program launches and supply chain initiatives
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ERP data

Senior Purchasing Specialist Qualifications:

- 5+ years of purchasing experience in an Automotive Tier 1 manufacturing environment (required)
- Strong supplier negotiation and sourcing experience
- Knowledge of automotive supply chain and procurement processes
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Plex preferred)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
