About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Operations Supervisor to lead their team in Kimberley. This supervisory role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the logistics department, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to safety protocols. You will supervise logistics staff, manage incoming and outgoing shipments, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain execution. The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, a thorough understanding of logistics operations, and the capacity to manage responsibilities in a hybrid work setting, balancing team oversight with strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct the daily activities of the logistics team.
Oversee the efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
Ensure accurate inventory management and control within the warehouse.
Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and other departments to resolve operational issues.




Train and mentor logistics staff, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
3+ years of experience in logistics operations or a related field, with some supervisory experience.
Knowledge of warehouse management principles and practices.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Flexibility to work in a hybrid model, managing operations on-site and handling strategic tasks remotely from Kimberley.
