OPEN COMPETITION The Keethanow Group of Businesses is now accepting applications for the following Full-Time position based out of the Keethanow Food Supermarket in La Ronge, SK PRODUCE CLERK The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Wrap, weigh, label and price fruit and vegetables;
Prepare and place fruits, vegetables and products on display counter so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper’s eye;
Prepare special orders of fruit, meat, cheese and vegetable trays as per customer order;
Cut and trim fruits and vegetables;
Keep work area washed, clean and sanitized;
Estimate requirements and assist with requisitions for fruits and vegetables supplies to maintain inventories;
Receive, inspect and store fruits and vegetables upon delivery to ensure quality




Requirements Must be bondable and dependable;
Food Safety certification would bean asset
Experience in working with Produce
Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying levels of priority;
A combination of education and experience may be considered Ability to stand for full shift;
Solid interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers;
Since this position is engaged primarily in serving the interests of Aboriginal people, Keethanow Group of Businesses shall give preference to Aboriginal people who possess the requisite skill sets and experience.
