Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring quick and precise entry
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to uphold high standards of quality and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, kitchen stations, and service areas
- Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities




- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy hours and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely delivery

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a solid understanding of the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and transaction processing
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
