Responsibilities

- Manage cash handling tasks including cashiering, processing payments, and providing correct change with basic math skills
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables through effective time management
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist in food preparation when needed and support restaurant operations during busy periods
- Complete side work in an efficient manner
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or cashiering roles demonstrating effective time management and multitasking abilities
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling transactions and order calculations
