Service Writer Love Working with People? Let’s Talk! At Wonder Auto & Tire New Glasgow, we know a great service experience starts with great people. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team and help make every visit a great one. If you enjoy helping people, keeping things organized, and finding solutions, this could be the perfect fit! What You'll Do You’ll be the friendly face and go-to person for our customers, helping them navigate their vehicle’s maintenance and service needs while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Here’s what your day might look like:

- Welcome customers, get to know their needs, and make them feel taken care of from the moment they arrive.
- Schedule appointments and help customers find convenient times that work for them.
- Listen to customer concerns and help identify the right service, maintenance, tire, or parts solutions.
- Explain recommended services in a clear, helpful way so customers feel confident in their decisions.
- Keep customers in the loop by providing updates and answering questions by phone, email, and in person.
- Work closely with our Technicians and Service Team to keep the day organized and moving.
- Follow up after service visits to make sure our customers are happy with their experience.
- Keep customer information, service records, and appointments accurate and up to date.
- Spot opportunities to make the customer experience even better and share ideas with the team.
- Help create a welcoming, organized environment where customers and teammates feel supported. What Makes You a Great Fit? You don’t need to know everything about cars to succeed here. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing a great job, and is ready to learn.

You’ll likely thrive in this role if you:
- Enjoy talking with people and building genuine relationships.
- Bring a positive attitude and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and good at juggling a few things at once.
- Communicate clearly and know how to make people feel heard.
- Enjoy solving problems and finding ways to help.
- Work well with a team and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- Are comfortable with computers and open to learning new systems.
- Want to keep learning and growing in your career. Previous automotive or Service Writer experience is an asset, but it’s not required. If you have great customer service skills and the right attitude, we’re happy to help you learn the rest. A valid driver's license is an asset. What’s In It for You? We believe great people deserve a great place to work.
- Competitive pay: $18-23 per hour, with opportunities to grow.
- Health and wellness: Comprehensive health, dental, and life advantages.
- Work-life balance: No scheduled nights or weekends.
- Room to grow: Ongoing training, professional development, and career opportunities across Shift Auto Group.
- Recognition: Employee recognition and performance incentives.
- A great team: Work alongside people who support one another and take pride in what they do. Why Wonder Auto & Tire? At Wonder Auto & Tire, we’re about more than vehicles. We’re about people, relationships, and making a difference in our customers’ day. We believe in looking out for one another, finding better ways to do things, and taking pride in the experience we deliver. With multiple locations across New Brunswick and Nova Saint John and the support of Shift Auto Group, you’ll have a team behind you and opportunities to build a career you can feel good about. Think you’d be a great fit? We’d love to hear from you!
