### What You'll Be Doing

As a Shift Manager, you'll be one of the key people keeping our cafés running smoothly while creating an amazing experience for both our guests and your teammates.

### Lead the Team

- Bring positive energy to every shift and lead by example.
- Support, motivate, and guide your teammates throughout the day.
- Coordinate daily operations across our Robson and Denman locations.
- Help create a fun, supportive, and productive work environment.
- Take ownership of your shift and ensure the team works together efficiently.

### Create Amazing Guest Experiences





- Prepare and serve delicious coffee, gelato, beverages, and food.
- Engage with guests, recommend products, and make every visit memorable.
- Handle customer questions and concerns with confidence and a smile.
- Help drive sales through great service, genuine product recommendations, and enthusiastic customer engagement.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

### Keep Things Running Smoothly

- Manage POS transactions, cash handling, and daily reporting.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
- Assist with inventory, stock replenishment, and waste reduction.
- Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning responsibilities.
- Keep the café looking beautiful, organized, and ready for the next rush!

### Who We're Looking For

You don't need to have years of management experience to be a great fit. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and the confidence to take ownership of their shift.

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

- Has at least 1 year of barista experience (required).
- Loves coffee, gelato, and café culture.
- Is outgoing, energetic, friendly, and approachable.
- Enjoys interacting with customers and working with a diverse team.
- Can stay calm, organized, and positive during busy periods.
- Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done.
- Has strong communication and customer service skills.
- Is comfortable with POS systems, cash handling, and food preparation.
- Understands food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Is willing to work at both our Robson Street and Denman Street locations.
- Has versatile availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Previous supervisory or shift management experience is an asset,



but a great attitude and leadership potential are equally important!
