Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Manager to lead our dynamic team and ensure smooth daily operations within our restaurant. As a key leader on the floor, you will oversee food preparation, customer service, and team management to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities

- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and excellent customer service.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee food handling, cooking processes, and food safety compliance to meet health regulations and quality standards.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including POS transactions using Micros POS systems, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, interviewing potential candidates, and onboarding new team members to build a robust team.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas while adhering to food safety protocols.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management with a focus on team supervision.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS; bartending or barista experience is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Skilled in cash handling, serving, and hospitality practices to enhance guest experiences.
- Background in restaurant or kitchen environments with a solid understanding of food handling procedures.
- Effective communicator with experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members.
