Job Description Cheticamp Medical Clinicis seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage until December 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access
utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members
Remuneration
guaranteed daily minimum income of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 or half-day)
additional shadow billings if above amount is exceeded.
accommodations up to $300 per night
travel expenses (including air fare up to $1,500)
Cheticamp Medical Clinic offers a supportive and collaborative environment for physicians providing comprehensive family medicine in the coastal community of Chéticamp. The clinic is equipped with Med Access EMR, enabling efficient and streamlined patient care. Physicians are supported by experienced clerical staff, a dedicated family practice nurse, and access to social work services, fostering a team-based approach to care.
