Your main responsibilities

As Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, you will:
- Manage shipping/receiving employees to maintain a healthy work setting.
- Oversee all aspects related to your team: timesheets, onboarding, replacements, disciplinary files, etc.
- Develop and implement optimal inventory management for finished goods, raw products, and packaging.
- Ensure regular communication with the plant manager and supervisors for effective information flow.




- Collaborate with the IT department to implement and maintain a functional perpetual inventory system.
- Participate in weekly meetings with employees or management.
- Motivate and engage your team, and evaluate and support their development.
- Ensure daily product rotation.
- Enforce company policies and procedures (HACCP/GFSI) as well as occupational health and safety laws and regulations, completing all required documentation.
- Complete and maintain the department's food compliance documentation.
- Collaborate in applying the collective agreement.
- Manage product receiving in the company's system (SAP).
- Ensure equipment maintenance within your department.
- Report any deviation to the quality manager.
- Take on any other responsibilities consistent with your role as assigned by your immediate supervisor.

Desired profile

- College diploma in operations management or any other relevant training.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years in a similar role.
- Available Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Experience in the food industry (an asset).
- Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written.
- Good proficiency with the Office 365 suite.
- Experience with the Paperless system (an asset).
- Experience with the Utrakk system (an asset).
- Experience in an SQF-certified environment (an asset).
- Ability to act as a replacement as needed, particularly during vacation periods.
