Overview

We’re looking for a hardworking and dependable Shop Assistant to join our Powersports team. This full-time position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about Powersports equipment. You’ll play an essential role in the day-to-day operations of the shop—supporting our service team, managing the lot, assembling and delivering units, and maintaining a protected, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the assembly and setup of new Powersports units (ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, etc.)
- Keep the shop and lot clean, organized, and safe for both staff and customers
- Load and unload equipment and parts using proper tools and safety procedures
- Move units around the lot and maintain the display area for an attractive presentation
- Deliver Powersports units to customers when needed, ensuring proper handling and care
- Support service technicians by prepping units, assisting with basic tasks, and maintaining tools
- Operate a telehandler or similar equipment (experience a strong asset)
- Perform routine maintenance checks and shop upkeep duties
- Interact with customers in a professional, helpful manner when in the shop or during deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements

- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Comfortable working with mechanical equipment and tools
- Physically capable of lifting,



moving, and working with heavy equipment
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, or mechanical setting is a plus
- Experience operating a telehandler or forklift is a big bonus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- A passion for Powersports is a huge asset!
