Join the Government of Manitoba’s Digital and Technology Services team to lead SAP BASIS infrastructure efforts. You’ll ensure system stability, performance, and security while guiding a team of administrators in a large-scale ERP setting.Responsibilities
Lead SAP BASIS administration and infrastructure managementEnsure system performance, availability, and securityGuide and mentor BASIS team membersCollaborate with cross-functional teams on ERP projectsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issuesCreate reports and status updates for stakeholdersSupport project planning and execution using PM methodologiesMaintain documentation and compliance standardsCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiencesWork independently and manage deliverables with minimal supervisionMust-Have Qualifications




Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent7+ years in SAP BASIS administration7+ years in business/system analysis and solution architecture7+ years with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, and other modules7+ years with Sybase/ASE and Microsoft Office tools3–5 years in a leadership role managing teamsExperience in large ERP programs and public sectorStrong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and with diverse teamsNice-to-Have
Experience with Indigenous business participation (Canadian or Manitoba)Familiarity with Manitoba government processesProject management certifications (e.G., PMI, TOGAF)Experience with remote team leadership
