We are presently searching for Front Desk and Guest Service team members to join our team of hospitality professionals for the upcoming ski season!

Overview

Join our dynamic Guest Services team as a Seasonal Ski Concierge, where your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for every guest during our annual ski season! Expected Season will be from late November through to early April.

Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Ski Concierge, where your enthusiasm for winter sports and exceptional customer service skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this energetic role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors seeking assistance with ski equipment and local amenities. Your friendly demeanor and proactive approach will ensure guests feel welcomed, informed, and excited about their mountain adventure.

This position offers an engaging environment where you can share your passion for skiing and hospitality while providing top-tier guest services.

Responsibilities





- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their ski-related needs in a professional manner
- Provide detailed information about ski slopes, trail conditions, lift operations, and safety guidelines
- Assist with ski equipment, luggage, group bags/ skis/ for hotel guests
- Maintain the designated station in the lobby and at ski concierge standing alert and ready. Assist with enquiries of ski hill, Red Mountain, and township of Rossland.
- Handle guest inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person
- Assist and coordinate the guest moments winter program, upkeep of entertainment lending station.
- Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and public areas of the hotel
- Maintain an open communication line through all shifts by proper use of shift log
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth guest experiences
- Perform pickups and drop-offs with the use of a hotel van, parking guest vehicles in the parking garage and in designated areas, perform the duties of a valet as required.

Skills

- A passion for winter sports and all things ski-related!
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in front desk operations within hospitality or hotel environments preferred
- Knowledge of ski resort operations and guest services best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Valid Drivers License and Motor Vehicles Abstract will be required

Pay: From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
