About Plantscape

Plantscape is looking for reliable and experienced Snow Skid Steer Operators to join our winter snow removal team. The successful candidate will operate a skid steer to safely and efficiently clear snow from commercial and/or residential properties throughout the winter season.

Position Responsibilities

- Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently for snow removal operations.
- Clear snow from parking lots, driveways, walkways, entrances, and other designated areas.
- Follow assigned routes and property-specific snow removal requirements.
- Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and report any equipment issues or damage.
- Ensure snow is properly cleared and piled in designated areas.
- Work alongside other snow removal crew members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of pedestrians, vehicles, buildings, curbs, landscaping, and other potential hazards.
- Assist with additional snow removal duties as required.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked and complete any required documentation.

Qualifications

- Previous skid steer operating experience is an asset.
- Previous snow removal experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in winter conditions.
- Valid driver's license is required to operate the trucks.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Solid attention to detail.




- Ability to work outdoors in cold and changing weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and during snow events.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in winter weather.
- Ability to safely enter and exit heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with snow removal when required.
- Ability to work extended shifts during significant snow events.

Schedule Snow removal operations are weather-dependent. Employees must be available to work during snow events and may be required to work irregular hours, including overnight, early morning, weekends, and holidays.
