LABOURERS

Chemco is seeking experienced Labourers for civil work in Sparwood, British Columbia. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals who are comfortable performing physical work in active construction environments.

What We’re Looking

We are currently recruiting Labourers with experience supporting civil, industrial, mining, or construction projects.

- Site preparation and cleanup
- Material handling and moving supplies
- Supporting trades and equipment operators as required

Labourers Labourers will perform general site duties and support crews to help keep work progressing safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

- Perform general labour duties, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Assist tradespeople, equipment operators, and other crew members as directed
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, materials, and supplies
- Use hand and power tools safely and properly
- Maintain awareness of ground conditions, equipment, nearby workers, and other site hazards
- Follow direction from site supervision and complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Follow all Chemco, client, and site-specific safety procedures
- Support a productive and respectful work environment

What You Bring

- Previous labour experience in a civil construction, mining, or industrial environment is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather and site conditions




- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a field team
- Strong communication and situational-awareness skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work the project schedule, including extended hours, weekends, or overtime when required
- Required safety certifications and site-access qualifications must be current before starting work

Employment Requirements

- Successful completion of project and site-access requirements
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing where permitted and required for the safety-sensitive position
- Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where required

Employment Details Location: Sparwood, British Columbia

Position: Project-based field roles

Compensation: $28.00–$34.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

LOA: Subsistance provided
